I get the whole traveler travelling with traveler thing. Makes sense, you're with like minded people.
But with someone who has nothing in common with you, don't do it! I swear I never wanted to punch someone in the face until this trip.
It was fun initially, but man was my patience tested. Nothing really cool about it other than that it was my first time in Cancun, and people party the same way they would in Tallahassee, Fl with a South Beach ambiance Lolzz!
I did learn a few things. For example:
1. Don't travel with people you have nothing in common with.
2. Don't stay in super touristy areas. You don't really get to appreciate the food and culture.
3. Resorts are nice, but it makes your experience an artificial one.
Definitely coming back to Mexico, but probably not Cancun. Or maybe with my friends... Who knows!
